La Casa is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to support and enrich the lives of the children in the Orangewood Children and Family Center.
Since 1980, La Casa's resources, guidance and encouragement have helped the foster and community youth in Orange County thrive and prosper.
La Casa is committed to making special memories for the children while they're residing at Orangewood. Through La Casa's activities, these children are able to forget their troubled past, if even for just a few hours. The activities also allow the children to enjoy the simple pleasures of being a child.
Members of La Casa’s Las Amigas and La Familia Chapters have been involved with the children of OC for over 50 years, supplying necessary ‘fundraising’ activities to help support programs.
Volunteering is a great way to make friends, learn new skills, advance careers - and even feel happier and healthier - while making a huge difference in a child's life.
Organize a drive in your community, school or workplace. Help us collect the much needed items for children who often find themselves forgotten and neglected by the public.
